Dental Radiology - Upper Jaw / Mandible - Dental Scan - CBCT / CT

In Dental Radiology, we use a CBCT equipment that allows the study in low dose radiation and very high spatial resolution of the maxillary and mandibular bone structures and dental evaluation.

Cone Beam CT (CBCT), also known as volumetric CT, uses an X-ray beam in a conical format and allows to obtain high spatial resolution images using extremely low radiation doses, lower than the multi-cut CAT-scan doses.

Applications

  • Orthodontics
  • Implantology
  • Periodontology
  • Endodontics
  • Pediatric dentistry

 * This test is preferably performed by CBCT. However when it is intended to analyse soft tissue pathologies, multi-cut CT is preferred.

PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN

  • This examination does not require any previous preparation.
