Dental Radiology - Sialography

Sialography is a minimally invasive complementary means of diagnosis consisting of the introduction of a contrast product through the parotid or submandibular glands duct and in the performing of a series of radiographs of the salivary gland to be studied.

It is an examination performed in a room with its own radiology equipment, only with topical anesthesia.

PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN

  • This examination does not require any previous preparation.
