Computed Axial Tomography of Intervention - Myelography

Myelography is a technique by which an x-ray from the spinal cord is taken after an injection of a radiopaque contrast medium into the area to be examined.

The myelography will allow to analyse abnormalities inside the spine, such as a herniated disk or a cancerous tumor.

 PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN:

  • The patient should fast 5 hours prior to the exam.
