High Field Magnetic Resonance Imaging - Marking of Breast Lesion by MRI

High-field magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is an imaging technique that does not use radiation based on a magnetic field and radiofrequency waves to study the organs of the human body in detail.

Nowadays, with the most modern equipment of 1.5 and 3 TESLA it is possible not only to study the brain, the spine and joints, but it is also the technique of choice for vascular, heart, liver and pancreas evaluation.

PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN:

The patient should fast 4 hours prior to the exam.

This examination should be performed between the 7th and the 10th day after the beginning of menstruation.
