Interventional Radiology - Nucleotomy

 Spinal nucleotomy is a medical procedure indicated for patientes with discogenic pain (herniated disk), who present pain in the lumbar or cervical region, with radiation to the limbs.

 

It is an advanced methodology for the treatment of vertebral disc hernia, indicated for patients with the hernia contained within the fibrous ring, without degenerative articular alterations or narrowing of the canal (that is, without other associated diseases).

   

PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN:

  • The patient should fast 5 hours prior to the exam.

  • You should buy and bring 1 vial of Rocephin 2gr, and 1 vial of Depo-Medrol 80mg.
