Degree in Medicine from the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the Nova University of Lisbon, completed in 2005. Specialist in Cardiology since 2012.

Since 2017: JCC Diagnostic Imaging.

2015 - 2017: PhD researcher and lecturer at King's College London, UK.

2012 - 2017: Subspecialization in advanced pediatric and adult cardiovascular imaging at the Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust, Guy's and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust, Evelina London Children's Hospital, King's College London, UK.

2007 - 2012: Cardiology residency program at Santo António Hospital,  Hospital Centre of Porto.
